How Do I Use Mud Blaster?
It's Ready to use - no need to dilute when using in a foam cannon. Use it in direct sunlight or shade, on cool-to-the-touch surfaces
For best results, use on dry surfaces, do not pre-rinse. For heavy mud or dirt buildup, pre-treat the surface with Mud Blaster using a pump sprayer or other means mixed at a 2:1 Ratio.
Application options:
Attach the Mud Blaster bottle directly to the pressure washer nozzle
Pour into the bottle and attach to the nozzle
For hose-type foam cannons, add water at 2:1 to the bottle & adjust mix as desired
Let the foam work for 3-5 minutes, allowing it to dwell as long as possible ;without drying.
Rinse away the foam to reveal the clean surface beneath.
Use the Rugged Restore Hero or Sidekick Towel to Dry Safely and Quickly
Do I Need to Pre-Rinse?
Maybe. If the vehicle has normal dirt and grime on it, we suggest you DO NOT pre-rinse to make sure the Mud Blaster can do its job. However, if you've just been to the mud bog races, you should definitely pre-rinse to remove all of that caked on mud, then let it dry a bit before using Mud Blaster.
How Do I Use the Foam Cannons and Pump Sprayer?
CANNON & SPRAYER DIRECTIONS:
Pressure Washer Foam Cannon
1. Adjust the spray nozzle first to find the stream of water that works for you. You can adjust it so that it sprays in a decent fan pattern.
2. Adjust the knob on the top to control how much water is mixed in.
3. The minus (-) sign indicates less water (so more foam is produced), and the (+) indicates more water (so less foam is produced).
4. DO NOT max out the knob onto the (-) side otherwise you wont get much foam.
5. You can turn it all the way to the (-) then dial it back a little, this will make a ton of foam.
Garden Hose Foam Cannon
1. Assemble foam cannon
2. Fill reservoir with desired amount of Mud Blaster at 2:1 Ratio
3. Connect foam cannon section to the sprayer section
4. Spray entire vehicle with foam
5. Remove foam cannon section, and use sprayer to rinse
6. Thoroughly rinse reservoir, fill with clean water, and run through the lance to remove residual soap
2L Pressurized Pump Sprayer
Pressurized Pump Foamer is an easy way to pretreat your vehicle with Mud Blaster to give it that extra oomph for cleaning. Use on all really dirty areas of the vehicle.
1. Remove the top of the sprayer
2. Pour Mud Blaster into the pump sprayer at a 2:1 Ratio
3. Use either the fan sprayer or more stream attachment (attach before pumping up!)
4. Spray onto surfaces to be pretreated
5. Continue with Mud Blaster in Foam Cannon
Will It Strip My Wax, Ceramic Coating Or Sealant?
No, it will not. This soap is truly unique and was designed with this in mind. The soap attacks dirt, grime, road film, and buildup, not the protection.
Can I use Mud Blaster Like Regular Wash Shampoo (in a bucket)?
Yes, when using in a bucket wash, simply add 5oz of Mud Blaster to each gallon of water. Use a great wash mitt or Mitt on a Stick, we don't want any scratches!
Do I Need a Pressure Washer?
Not necessarily! We offer a garden-hose type foam cannon that you can use, which is really good for applying the Mud Blaster and rinsing it off, letting it do its job! Pressure washers can really aide in removing any large areas of mud or grime, and they can be had pretty inexpensively, so we recommend one if you can make it happen!
Is Mud Blaster Safe on All Vehicle Surfaces?
Yes! We've designed it to be super effective, but safe on your paint, wheels, sealants, waxes, and coatings.
How Many Washes Do I Get From Each Bottle?
BOTTLES GO A LONG WAY! When used with a foam cannon, most vehicles will use a couple of ounces or less, depending on how much foam is applied each wash!
